Lucy M. Senna, 78, U.S. Army veteran, administrative assistant
Lucy M. (Spinola) Senna, 78, of Wareham, died Dec. 10 at Kindred Transitional Care at Forestview. She was the widow of Antone J. Senna.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Elsie (Rogers) Spinola, and has been a resident of Onset since 1977.
Mrs. Senna worked as an administrative assistant at the Credit Bureau of Boston and later worked in the quality control department for Cape Cod Potato Chips. She was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War. Discharged as a corporal, she was a medical technician. Mrs. Senna was also a communicant and active member of St. Mary’s Church in Onset.
Survivors include three sons, Larry D. Senna of Onset, Thomas A. Senna of Los Gatos, CA, and Anthony J. Senna of Wareham; three brothers, Anthony Spinola of Onset, Thomas Spinola of Fla., and Joseph Spinola of Wareham; five sisters, Gloria Thatcher, Gladys Baptiste, and Lillian McGruder all of Wareham, Eloisa (Spinola) DePina of Dorchester, and Gabriel “Nancy” Spinola of Brockton; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late Frances Sanchez, Vincent Spinola, Jr. and Philip Spinola.
Her graveside service will be Mon., Dec. 17, 2012 at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 11 a.m.. Visiting hours were held Sunday.
