The Wareham Land Trust will lead hikers on a tree-themed walk through the Tweedy & Barnes Conservation Area, 231-299 Blackmore Pond Road, on Tuesday, August 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Hikers will learn how to identify different species of tree, and about the unique interactions between trees and insects. 

This program is part of Crawling with Fun, the Wareham Land Trust’s summer series of insect-themed events.

The walk is free for Wareham Land Trust members and $5 for nonmembers. Attendees can pay at the event with cash or check. Hikers are expected to bring snacks, water, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.
