Marvelous March middle school students of the month
As March came and went, students from each grade in Wareham Middle School showed off exemplary skills and traits.
Joao Vilas Boas was the student of the month for fifth grade. Boas was praised for approaching every task with determination, working hard to understand material and completing his assignments on time.
"Beyond his own work, he is a supportive and dependable classmate. Other students look to him for help because he explains ideas clearly and is always willing to lend a hand. His respectful nature and strong work ethic have earned him the admiration of his peers, making him someone others truly look up to," one educator wrote about Boas.
For sixth grade, Chase Herren was chosen as student of the month. Herren is described as a hard-working and kind student by educators.
"Chase consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to learning, coming to class prepared and ready to engage each day," one teacher wrote. "He approaches his work with enthusiasm and takes pride in doing his best. Chase is thoughtful and supportive, often going out of his way to assist others and contribute positively to the classroom.”
For seventh grade "a fantastic role model student" is what teachers have said about student of the month recipient Alexandria Wingo. Many describe her as dedicated, kind and polite.
"Alex is an enthusiastic student who cares about her education. She is always smiling and willing to lend a helping hand. I have really enjoyed getting to know her over the past three years!” A teacher wrote.
