Maureen C. Power, 61
Maureen C. (Sullivan) Power, 61, died Thursday, July 7, at her home in South Plymouth after a long illness. She was the wife of Robert J. Power.
Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Ernest and Georgina (Blackstone) Sullivan, she graduated from South Boston High School in 1969. A previous resident of Brockton and Wareham, she has lived in South Plymouth for 16 years. Mrs. Power formerly worked as a certified nurses' assistant.
She enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing KENO with her friends at Bailey's Surf and Turf in Wareham, shopping, hanging out by her pool and travelling to the casinos. Maureen especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Power; her children, Timothy Trinciante and his husband, Anthony Trinciante of Taunton, Cindy DeMello and her husband, Duane of E. Freetown, Debra Tropeano and her boyfriend, Keith Moran of Wareham and Anthony Tropeano of S. Plymouth; her sister, Elizabeth Sullivan of Carver; her brother, William Sullivan of Ulster, PA; her grandchildren, Chelsea and Shelby Tropeano, Kaylee McAuliffe, Anthony Tropeano, Jr., Aaliyah Tropeano, Loriann DeMello and Liam DeMello; several nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Her funeral service was held on July 12. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth.
