Every month, Wareham Middle School celebrates exceptional students.

Ivory Black-Todd is the fifth grade student of the month for June.

“Ivory is a kind, conscientious, responsible student,” said one teacher. “She is a role model to others; always willing to participate, thoughtful in her school work, and patiently lending a hand when classmates need it.”

Teachers described Ivory as having positive energy and being kind to her classmates.

“Her exemplary academics and citizenship make her a leader and positive influence in the fifth grade,” said another teacher.

Robert Shurtleff is the sixth grader of the month.

“Bobby is always the first to ask if he can assist in grabbing equipment and consistently adds positivity to the learning environment,” said one teacher. “He is always kind to his peers and has a never quit attitude.”

Teachers describe Bobby as inquisitive and eager to learn.

“Bobby uses his manners each and every day,” said another teacher. “He has an inquisitive mind and is always positive with his classmates and staff here at WMS.”

Dominick Surette is the seventh-grader of the month.

“Dominick is a dedicated, hardworking and creative student,” said one teacher. “He is respectful towards his peers and teachers and always stands up for others.”

Teachers say Dominick has a positive attitude, works hard and shares observations and questions in class.

“Dominick is a careful and creative artist,” said another teacher.
