Michael Caradimos, 96

Michael Caradimos, 96, of Onset, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Michael was the beloved husband of the late Theodora (Kamberogiannis) Caradimos. He was born in Vithos, Greece on December 24, 1923, the son of the late Cosmos and Zaharo (Tsoumas) Caradimos.

Michael was a former chef, hard worker, and part owner of the Lobster Bowl restaurant in Wareham. Before he joined his brothers there, he was also part owner of the Royal Lunch in Onset and the Lighthouse in Wareham. Not only did he love all his family and friends, but he loved his sun, beach, sand and always looked forward to spending summers in Greece.

He is survived by his daughters; Laura Akerblom and her husband Sidney of Pocasset and Sophia Gillispie and her husband Matthew of Hingham. He was the loving grandfather of Micaela Pope of Buzzards Bay and the adoring great grandfather of Owen Pope. He was the brother of Nitsa Hantis of N.J. and he was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was the brother of the late; Charles Caradimos, Panagiotis Caradimos, Sterios Caradimos, Andrew Caradimos, George Caradimos, Sophie Giannouloudis and Olga Sumas. Mikey was full of life, one of a kind, made everyone laugh and lived a simple life. He will always make our hearts smile and he will be greatly missed.
