Michael F. Pipher, 54
Michael F. Pipher, 54, of Wareham died Sept. 16 at Tobey Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy A. (Hodge) Pipher and the son of Evelyn A. (Brown) Pipher and the late Robert F. Pipher.
He was born in Wareham and lived there all of his life.
Mr. Pipher worked as a mechanic for Sure Cran in Wareham. Previously he owned and operated LaCasse Service Station in Onset. He loved traveling and going camping.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy A. (Hodge) Pipher of Wareham; his mother, Evelyn A. (Brown) Pipher of Wareham; his daughter, Catherine E. Pipher; his son, Michael F. Pipher, Jr. all of Wareham; his grandsons, known as “Papa’s Boys, Vincent, Trevor, Jace and Demitrius; two brothers, Robert Pipher of Foxboro and David Pipher of Wareham; his sister, Dianne Pipher of Wareham; a nephew, Robert Pipher of Foxboro; his mother-in-law, Dorothy (Spike) Hodge of Onset. He was the brother of the late Debbie Merry and Roberta Foley and the son-in- law of the late William T. Hodge.
His visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham.
His graveside service will be private at Long Neck Cemetery, Onset.
