Ministry focused on at-risk youth to hold event in Onset
New Bedford based PAW Ministries (Praise and Worship Ministries) led by founder Gus Barboza will be ministering at the Onset Foursquare Church located at 301 Onset Ave. in Onset, on Saturday May 9, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is a free event, open to all, with a special focus on high-risk youth and young adults.
PAW Ministries website states, “Our goal as a ministry is to foster relationships and networks within communities that have higher than average at-risk youth. With us, we bring hope and inspiration to challenged teens."
The website continues, "We inspire and motivate those less fortunate to rise up and overcome the challenges they face in their day-to-day lives, and to rediscover the purpose of their lives. By the power of God, this ministry is on a mission to bring a message of hope to change lives, to restore failing relationships, to inspire the uninspired, to encourage the young generation, and to transform entire communities from the ground up.”
PAW has ministered throughout New England. The ministry includes live hip hop artists, contemporary music, spoken word/poets, praise dance fellowship and testimonies.
The doors open at 6:45 p.m. For questions or information, please call the Onset Foursquare Church at 508-291-1595 or 508-863-3691.
