A Wareham resident received an unwelcome surprise Friday afternoon, when a car backed into a neighboring mobile home.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. at Lakeside Trailer Park. The mobile home at Lot 8 was hit by a car from a neighboring home. According to police broadcasts, there was minor damage to both car and home. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The driver of the car was given a citation for an unregistered vehicle, and a towing company was called to remove the car.
