Natalie A. Matthews, 91, of Plymouth formerly of Wareham, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Plymouth.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late August and Mary (Andrews) Delgado.  A lifelong resident of Wareham, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching, cooking and her grandchildren.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Matthews of Brookline, Rae Louise Olson of Halifax, Marion Matthews of Plymouth, Raymond Matthews, Jr. of Pawtucket, RI, Nathan Matthews of Bourne and Kyle Matthews of Falmouth; her siblings, Napoleon Delgado and Margaret Gomes both of E. Wareham, and Mae Pires of Onset.  Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children, the late Linda Jacobs-Nolan and Douglas Matthews, and her siblings, the late Manuel Neves, August Delgado, Jr., and Lorraine Duarte.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at St. Mark’s Church, 391 Onset Ave., Onset at 11 AM with a gathering of friends and family in the church community room immediately following the service.
