New Bedford man injured in Route 25 car accident

A 52-year-old New Bedford man sustained "incapacitating injuries" in a one-car crash Sunday.
The man was on Route 25 westbound at around 9 p.m. in a 2002 Saturn when the crash took place, according to the Massachusetts State Police's media relations office. He was transported to Tobey Hospital where he was taken by helicopter to another hospital for treatment.
