The Foundation for Wareham Education is hosting the third annual Taste of Wareham fundraiser on Friday, May 9 at Box Mill Hall. The evening of tastings and local fare will benefit the Foundation's teacher grant program.

Premier sponsors, Buzzards Bay Brewing and Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery will be offering their locally produced beer and wine. Food samplings will be offered from several local restaurants including the Stonebridge Bistro, Ella's Woodburning Oven, Charlie’s Place, The Narrows, Firehouse Café and B&B Bar and Grille.

During the evening, the spring grants awards will be presented. In what has become tradition, auction items will also be available for bidding.

Tickets are $40 for the public and $30 for Wareham Public School employees. The even is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Box Mill Hall is located at 150 Tihonet Road in Wareham. For tickets e-mail rgakidis@ne-cat.org
