BOURNE – Nino Cedrone, 86, of Bourne, formerly of Wareham, passed away at home while surrounded by his loving family on March 9, 2023.  He was the husband of the late Carolina (DeRubeis) and the son of the late Nunziato and Francesca (Tocci) Cedrone.  

He was born in San Donato, Italy and lived in Newton and Wareham for many years before moving to Bourne in 2016.

Mr. Cedrone worked in the maintenance department at Newton Wellesley Hospital for 25 years before retiring.

He loved his family and gatherings, dancing, laughing and listening to music.  He was an avid gardener and wine maker.

Survivors include his son, Donato Cedrone of Bourne; his daughter, Cesidia “Cid” Brousseau of Bourne; 3 grandchildren, Peter Brousseau and his wife Amanda of Plymouth, Christina Brousseau and her fiance, Keith Murdock of Bourne and Donato Cedrone, Jr. of Lagrange, ME; his son-in-law, Paul Brousseau of Wareham; 2 great grandchildren, Genevieve and Cora and one more great grandchild on the way.  He was the brother of the late Gaetano Cedrone, Nunziata Cedrone, Cesidia Cellucci and Donato Cedrone; several nephews and nieces.

Visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Chapman Funerals – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church, 141 Main St., Buzzards Bay.

Burial will be in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham.
