Onset Bay Association thanks Wareham community for a banner year
To the Editor:
We wish to express our gratitude to the entire Wareham community for supporting our many events this year. From the Easter Egg Hunt to the Kite Festival and everything in between, it was a banner year for us as an organization and we have this amazing community to thank for that. It was not without its aches and pains, having to reschedule many events, but you stuck it out with us and encouraged us along the way. We truly appreciate it.
It’s a tremendous amount of effort to accomplish great things and we can’t do this alone. It was a pleasure to work with all the many town departments that keep this town moving forward. Thank you, Town Hall, Wareham Police Department, Wareham Department of Natural Resources, Onset Fire Department, Wareham Fire Department, Wareham EMS, Wareham Municipal Maintenance Department, Wareham Board of Health and the many outside organizations that came along for the ride in keeping these events safe and sound. Thank you for your cooperation and guidance.
Thank you to our volunteers, who work tirelessly to plan and execute events and projects that serve and delight thousands every year. It’s a lot of work to have this much fun! Without their enthusiasm and passion, it just would not be. Thank you for your time, your energy and dedication.
Many thanks to all our local press. We appreciate that you’re always there to help spread the word and keep the people informed. Thank you for all the great coverage this year!
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our many donors, sponsors and Onset Bay Association members, whether they be families or individuals, visitors or residents or members of our local business community. We are most grateful for the financial and in-kind support we have received. Thank you for investing in us, our ideas and this community we serve.
Together, we really do make a difference!
All of us at the Onset Bay Association
