The Onset Cape Verdean Festival Association will host its second Cape Cod Canal Cruise from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28 as a fundraiser for the organization.

The event helps provide funds for the scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors each year. This past year, eight $1,000 scholarships were given to students, according to a press release.

The cost for the canal cruise is $20, and finger food will be served. DJ Frye will provide entertainment and dance music for the night. The event will also include a 50/50 raffle and gift baskets.
