The Onset Fire District has postponed its District Meeting and Election to June.

The Meeting and Election were originally scheduled for May 18 and 19. Following Governor Charlie Baker’s April 28 announcement that social distancing guidelines would be extended to May 18, Onset Fire Officials decided to postpone the meeting and election for three weeks.

The new dates are as follows:

—District Meeting June 8, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. at the Onset VFW

—District Election June 9, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Onset VFW

—Absentee/Early Voting Ballots will be accepted until noon on June 8, 2020

Officials will continue to follow updates from local, state, and federal officials about the pandemic. 

Future changes will be posted on the district’s website, onsetfiredistrict.org, and on the Onset Fire Rescue Facebook page.
