Onset man arrested for five outstanding warrants

An Onset man was arrested Thursday for five outstanding warrants, according to the Wareham Police department.
James Aresta, 28, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. by officer James White at Aresta’s Onset residence, 33 Carlton Place, police said. The warrants were issued by Wareham, Barnstable, and Brockton courts, and were for past charges, including possession of a Class B substance, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, shoplifting, and various motor vehicle offenses.
Police said Aresta was scheduled to address the warrants at the various courts, beginning with Wareham District Court on Thursday, Jan. 7.
