To the Editor:

I was so pleased to hear that Julio Roderick of Wareham was just named Grand Marshal of the virtual Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2020. I had nominated him a couple of months ago because I believe that he absolutely deserves it. He has done so much for our town for many many years, and of course his lengthy service to our country — so for me, it was a no-brainer that I wrote him a letter nominating him for this title.

Thank you, Julio, for your service. I’m sure your beloved wife Juliette would be very proud of you. 

Also, I want to wish a happy and healthy Veterans Day to all the men, women and their families.
