Paul Morgan Sullivan, 82, of Wareham passed away on Oct. 16 at the Brockton VA Medical Center. Paul was the husband of 56 years to Grace (Groleau) Sullivan of Wareham. He was born in Boston the son of the late John and Catherine (Larkin) Sullivan.

Paul grew up in Roslindale and graduated with the class of 1952 from Jamaica Plain High School. A U.S. Air Force, Korean War veteran, Paul served honorably as a medic. After the war he completed his master’s degree in social work and touched many lives while employed as a social worker at the Middleboro Counseling Center until his retirement.

Paul’s favorite hobby was pigeon racing and later in life he traded music and anecdotes with people from all over the world. He will be remembered for his quick wit and jovial personality. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his six children: Jeanne and her husband Tom Morse, Carol Sullivan, Linda Souza, Katherine Sullivan, Paul Sullivan, Joseph Sullivan and his wife Lisa; his brother Daniel Sullivan; sisters Peggy Blair and Joanne Hughes; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and other relatives; and boyhood friend Edward McMahon.

He was the brother of the late: John (Jack) Sullivan, Dorothy Sullivan, Louise Hoar, Rita Lazzaro; granddaughter Jennifer Jacobi and sister-in-law Leah Anne (Cole) Sullivan.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, Oct. 29, in Saint Peter’s Church on the Canal 165 Main St., Buzzards Bay at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
