Jun 11, 2019

Kids can get creative with the Dog Park Association of Wareham’s “Unleash the PAWsibilities Youth Art & Literary Contests Celebrating the People-Pet Bond” this summer. Area students ages 5 to 18 can enter pet-themed visual arts and poetry/essay contests (or both), separated into three age groups. Entries will be judged by jurors from art and literary fields.

All contestants are entered into a prize raffle. Visual art & poetry/essay winners in the 3 age groups receive certificates & awards.

Registration forms are available at TD Bank, WFL/Spinney Libraries, the OBA Office, Gleason Family YMCA, or by email at sammorrison@comcast.net.

Submission sites are TD Bank, the OBA Office & WFL/Spinney Libraries. Submissions are due July 19th.

All student work will be displayed at TD Bank & the Wareham Post Office. TD Bank will host the celebration of contest and raffle winners at 4:30 on August 2 at a celebration that will include snacks, giveaways, and kids games.
