The Onset Box 5 Association is calling all swimmers and sponsors to its annual Polar Bear Dive to take place on New Year's Day, Jan. 1. 2018, at the Onset Pier.

Registration for the event begins at 11 a.m. and participants will take the plunge at noon.

Each participant planning on diving into the icy waters of Onset Bay adjacent to the town pier is asked to make a $10 donation to participate. All swimmers must register and sign a liability release to participate. Polar Bear Dive T-shirts will be available for purchase at the Onset Pier.

T-shirt sponsorships are available on a first come, first served basis. T-shirt sponsors pay $25. For more information, contact Earl Fowler at 508- 930-1685.
