Police raise $5,000 for kids with cancer

Wareham Police hit the links for a cause in the Wareham Police Association’s 7th annual golf tournament raising money for Cops for Kids with Cancer.
Cops for Kids with Cancer is a non-profit that helps local police departments raise money for childhood cancer research and to support the families of kids with cancer. The tournament was held Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth.
Through seven years, Wareham Police has raised over $36,000 for the non-profit.
