Post #220 baseball team kicks off summer season

The American Legion Post #220’s season is in full swing, and here’s some of the results form the most recent games.

Post #220 started off the  season with a resounding 10-3 win over Sandwich on Sunday, June 9. Tim Reilly of Wareham allowed just  four hits and one earned run over six innings, and struck out seven batters.

Catcher Luke Matter of Old Rochester Regional High School was three for three with a double and three RBIs.

Post #220 suffered a loss to Kingston on Wednesday, June 12, with a score of 6-0. Mike Lundin of Kingston struck out 12 and allowed just three hits.

On Saturday June 15, Post #220 scored a win against Brockton, with a score of  5-4. Tim Reilly took to the mound for Post #220,  striking out four batters. He was relieved in the sixth inning by Sam Bacchiocchi of Tabor Academy, who struck out all three batters he faced.
