The Church of the Good Shepherd and the Wareham Area Clergy Association is hosting their annual Wareham Walks for the Homeless event to raise money for Turning Point.

Turning Point is a Wareham based organization working to help people that are homeless and nearly homeless across the South Coast.

The 5 mile walk will take place Sunday, May 18 beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 3 p.m.

The route for the walk begins at the Church of the Good Shephard located at 74 High Street, travel down Sandwich Road, go along Route 28 onto Depot Street, turn onto Minot Avenue and walkers will go down Main Street and back to the church.
