A scary-good time for a scary-good cause.
The Onset VFW at 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road is hosting its sixth annual family friendly cancer fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 25 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to raise money for the Jimmy Fund, Fairhaven Cancer Center and local families battling cancer.
The event is open to the public and will feature a DJ, costume contest, games, raffles and more.
Tickets are $20 at the door, kids enter for free.
The event, in honor of Joseph Pittsley, will also feature a memorial table for guests to light a candle for loved-ones.
