ONSET – Raymond J. Daviau, 87, of Onset, died Dec. 25, 2022, in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. He was the husband of Janice A. (Bellew) Daviau and the son of the late Joseph R. and Marjorie (Sears) Daggett.

He was born in Burlington, VT and lived in Onset for most of his life.

He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran.

Mr. Daviau worked as a Civil Engineer in the area for many years before retiring.

He was a life member of the Wareham-New Bedford Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed golfing.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Janice A. (Bellew) Daviau; many nephews and nieces including Ronald Daviau of Colchester, VT and Steven Daviau of Swanton, VT.

Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Chapman Funerals and Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham.
