Reader photos: Wareham residents explore nature

Mar 29, 2020

Despite events being canceled, and bars and restaurants closing to limit the spread of coronavirus, people in Wareham have still been able to enjoy many of the outdoor destinations around town.

Readers of Wareham Week sent in various photos to showcase how they have been getting outdoors during a time of cancellations and shutdowns.

For those looking to get outside, properties owned by the Wareham Land Trust are open to the public, although the land trust has canceled all remaining events through March and April.

The land trust asks that visitors to its properties practice “social distancing.” Social distancing measures include staying at least six feet away from others, and avoiding handshakes and hugs.
