"A Salute to Reading is Fundamental" read-aloud program will be celebrated in Wareham schools from November 14 to 18.

"A Salute to RIF" is the Massachusetts organization which helps support the literacy goals of Reading is Fundamental, a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving literacy in America.

Eastern Bank Vice President Rose Berry is coordinating activities in the Wareham elementary schools. People who are interested in volunteering to read can call Berry at 508-295-3802 or sign up at the bank before November 7.
