Recent arrests for shoplifting, driving under the influence

Wareham Police made a number of arrests this week for shoplifting and driving under the influence of liquor.

Andrew Geddes, 24, of Marshfield, was arrested by Officer Aaron Pacheco and James White for shoplifting at Walmart at 6:41 p.m. on Saturday, September 14.

At 10:38 a.m. on Sunday, Alan O’Donnell, 36, of Wareham, was arrested by Officers Charles Pillsbury and Jon Verhaegen at Stop and Shop for shoplifting. In addition to the shoplifting charge, Mr. O’Donnell also had an active warrant for his arrest.

On Thursday, September 19, Christian Robles, 30, of New Bedford, was arrested by Officers Nate Aronson and Joseph Cardoza in the parking lot of Wareham Crossing at 4:57 p.m. He is charged with operating under the influence of liquor and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

At 9:45 p.m., Michael Gagnon, 61, of Bourne, was arrested by Officers Aronson and Christopher Corner on Cranberry Highway. Gagnon was placed in custody after he had allegedly used a car without authority, stole a credit card, and purchased items with that card. He is charged with larceny of a credit card, credit card fraud under $1,200.00, use of a motor vehicle without authority, operating after suspension of his driver’s license, and wanton destruction of property over $1,200. In addition, Gagnon had an active warrant for his arrest.  

On Sunday, Tyler Deandrade, 21, of Carver, was arrested by Officers Matthew Donovan and Robert McLain on Minot Avenue at 1:14 a.m. for operating after suspension, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and speeding. 

At 3:22 p.m., Joal Cardoza, 39, of Wareham, was arrested by Officers Aronson and Pillsbury on Merchant’s Way for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and littering. 

At 7:32 p.m., Michael Pipher Jr., 28, of Buzzards Bay, was arrested by Officers Aronson and Cardoza on Church Avenue for operating under the influence of liquor, 2nd offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
