On Thursday, January 7, officers observed a man throwing a wooden stake at a vehicle on Cranberry Highway near the entrance to Mogan’s Mobile Home Park.
The officers stopped to investigate and placed the man, Jeffrey Picard, 50, of East Wareham, under arrest. When the officers arrived at the police station with Picard, police say that Picard began trying to kick at officers during his removal from the cruiser.
