Red Sox history at the library on Saturday
Apr 27, 2010
Put on your best Red Sox shirts and caps this Saturday and join the Friends of the Wareham Free Library in welcoming author and Red Sox historian Dick Johnson to Wareham.
Johnson is curator of the Boston Sports Museum and the author of "A Century of Boston Sports," "New England Patriots: Yesterday and Today" and "Boston Braves." He has also co-authored 18 other titles including the bestselling "Red Sox Century." He will bring great stories of players from "back in the day" as well as developments at Fenway Park.
Everyone is welcome to this free program. Bring your questions and interest in the Red Sox. Popcorn and other baseball snacks will be served. The talk begins at 11 a.m. in the Wareham Free Library meeting room.
