Remembering Main Street with the Wareham Historical Society

Mar 12, 2012

The Wareham Historical Society will host a program entitled, "Remember When: Wareham Main Street" on March 19 at 7 p.m. at the Methodist Meeting House located at 495 Main Street.

The program is for the Wareham public to share memories, stories, pictures and any memorabilia that relates to their experiences from past Main Street businesses and events, including memories of major storms and fires that impacted the center of Wareham's business district.

The Wareham Historical Society will film the event as part of its “Remember When” series that asks guests to talk about Main Street events and the people whose businesses were the heart of our town. A presentation will be also made from historical society archives.

Refreshments will be served after the presentation. Admission for members is free, non-members pay $2. For additional information, call 508-295-8578.
