Residents invited to question candidates for superintendent position

Apr 9, 2022

There’s just two candidates left for the role of superintendent of Wareham Public Schools, and the public is invited to attend two community Meet and Greets next week to ask them questions, the school says.

The two sessions will run 4:30-5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 14 at the Wareham Middle School Library, according to a school press release. The two candidates, Andrea Schwamb and Matthew D’Andrea, are scheduled to tour the schools on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, followed by their Q&As.

The event is preceded by question-and-answer sessions between the candidates and school faculty, school staff and town administrators. Schwamb is scheduled to be interviewed by the School Committee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and D’Andrea is scheduled to be interviewed by the committee at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
