Richard B. Pina, Jr., 42, of Wareham, died at home on July 15.

He was born in Wareham and lived in Kingston, Brockton, and Hanson before returning to Wareham.

Mr. Pina graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational High School in South Easton and from Mt. Ida College in Newton.

Mr. Pina was the manager of shipping and receiving at David’s Bridal in Dedham. He had a passion for designing dresses and planning weddings.

Survivors include his father, Richard B. Pina, Sr. of Hanson; several cousins, including Cheryl Hayes of Stoughton; his godmother, Sally Rose of Attleboro; his godfather, Wayne Pina of Brockton; aunts, Patricia Pina of Brockton and Roberta Baptiste of Wareham; an uncle, Frank Pina of Plymouth; many friends and his beloved cat, Sebastian. He was predeceased by his mother, Marilyn M. (Baptiste) Pina.

His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rte.28), Wareham followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham.
