Richard C. St. Germaine, 65, died Friday, September 30, 2022 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of James L. St. Germaine of West Wareham and the late Ida R. (Pina) St. Germaine.

Richard graduated from Wareham High School, and was an accomplished guitar player. He was a member of the band, Kings Highway. Richard was a tinkerer, especially with electronics and computers. He was an avid sports fan and coached alongside of his brother Randy for the Cranberry Chevrolet Softball Team. Rick was most happy when surrounded by his family for family cookouts and holidays giving rides on his motorized wheelchair to his great nieces and nephews. He especially enjoyed playing guitar with his brothers and nephews, sharing his love of music.

Survivors include his father, James St.Germaine of W. Wareham; his siblings, Randy St. Germaine and Cathy Marino of W. Wareham, Aldonna LaMarche and her husband Robert of Monument Beach, Diane Barry and her husband John of Mansfield, and Rita St. Germaine and Steven Briggs of Marion. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Roger Perry.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8th at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham at 2 PM with visiting hours to follow until 4 PM. Burial will be private.
