Richard Paul Cardoza, 76

Richard Paul Cardoza, 76, was born December 13, 1946, in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of the late Fred and Agnes Cardoza. Richard was a resident of Wareham, MA, and graduated from Wareham High School in 1964.

Richard served in the United States Air Force for four years, including the Vietnam War. He was a Master Plumber and owned his plumbing business Drainology for over 35 years in California and Hawaii.

Richard loved traveling, cooking, swimming, the oldies, golfing, and football. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. He was a member of and loved attending services at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Honolulu, Hawaii. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his dog Hobo. Friends and family will remember his infectious humor and charm.

Richard departed this life on January 2, 2023, in Pennsylvania. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Patricia Cardoza of Honolulu, Hawaii; sons, Fredrick (Kristin) Cardoza and Theodore (Elaine) Cardoza; grandchildren, Fredrick III, Christian, Chase, Kinzy, and Caden; sister, Dorothea (George) Carter; nephews, George Carter Jr. and Derek (Julie) Carter; nieces, Donie (Damien) Henry and Danielle Carter.

A special thank you to his sister Dorothea, niece Donie and her husband, Damien, for their compassionate care for Richard and Patricia. Upon Richard’s request for cremation, a private service will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
