Robert P. Tamagini, 86
Robert P. Tamagini of Wareham died Tuesday, July 22 at Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion at the age of 86. He was the son of the late Edward & Evelyn (Borghi) Tamagini.
Born in Wareham, Bob was a long-time resident of the town and a former resident of Carver. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and upon his father’s retirement he owned and operated Eddie’s Electric for many years. During that period he was a wiring inspector for the Town of Wareham. More recently, Bob was the owner of Royal Crest, Inc.
He enjoyed attending Wareham Gatemen baseball games and Wareham High School football games.
Bob is survived by his son, Robert F. Tamagini and his wife Dotty of Wareham; his grandsons, Jeffrey of Boston and Brian of Carver; his former wife, Barbara and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, the late Edward, Wallace and Raymond Tamagini.
A private graveside service was held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours were omitted. Arrangements by Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Wareham.
