Ronald Henry Floyd, 70

Ronald Henry Floyd, 70, of Wareham and Boynton Beach, FL, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at his home in Florida surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Teresa (Cherubin) Floyd.

Born in Winchester, he was the son of the late William and Rose (Mottolo) Floyd. Mr. Floyd held a bachelor’s degree in engineering and worked in this field for many years. He later retrained as a registered nurse working in this profession until he fell ill. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 15280 in Wareham and longtime financial secretary of Polish National Alliance Council # 584.

Mr. Floyd served in the MA Army National Guard and was discharged as sergeant.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Floyd; his sons, Marius Wierzbicki and his wife Violetta, Rev. Ronnie Floyd, and Michael Floyd and his wife Karen; his foster daughters Patricia Pistone and Susan Collela; his brothers, Bill Floyd, Kevin Floyd and Gary Floyd; and his grandchildren, Conrad, Issabella, Natalia, and Josephine.

Relatives and friends are invited to pray the Rosary with his family at St. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St., Wareham on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. His Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Floyd family requests an atmosphere of prayerful silence while in church. He will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, in Wareham following the Funeral Mass.
