Rose J. (Cole) Hawkins, 96, of Onset, died Oct. 14, 2020 at home. She was the wife of the late Adelbert Hawkins and mother of the late Lorraine Hawkins.

She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Clayton F. and Elinda (Babeau) Cole.

During WWII, she worked in an airplane factory in CT. After her marriage, she lived in RI for 10 years and then moved to Palm Beach, FL, and recently moved to live with her nephew and Godson and niece, William and Deborah Oldfield.

She was a member of the Mayflower Society for over 50 years.

She is survived by several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. She was the second oldest of seven, all are deceased: Clayton, Roland, Lorraine Oldfield, Norman, Raymond and Milton.

Services are being held privately.
