Sebastian P. “Sonny” Carco, 76, of West Wareham, died September 2, in Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the widower of the late Joan F. (Clark) Carco, who died in 2002. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Longo) Carco.

He was born in Boston and lived in Somerville for many years before moving to Wareham in 1972.

Mr. Carco worked for Allied Arts in Somerville for many years before retiring.

He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church.

Survivors include 4 sons, Nicholas Carco of East Wareham, Stephen Carco and Joseph Carco both of Plymouth, John Carco of Londonderry, NH; a daughter, Donna Salley of E. Bridgewater; a brother, Joseph Carco of Wareham; 2 sisters, Ruby Zirpolo of Salem and Mary Mahoney of FL; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Joanne Gosselin.

His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 6, from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Visiting hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
