Shirley I Brady, 88, was a lifelong resident of New Bedford, survived by her husband Dennis of New Bedford, daughter Gail of Rochester, son Russ of Cheshire, son-in-law Dennis, daughter-in-law Cathy, 3 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She had a long career as a stitcher in New Bedford leading her to a passion for designing doll clothing and accessories. Being with family and friends was her biggest passion especially around the Holidays. If she wasn't at her sewing machine you would find her playing cribbage or poker. She truly enjoyed the simple things life had to offer including pets and always had a smile to share.
