Shirley A. Voisine, 91, of Fall River, formerly of Bourne, Brockton and New Bedford, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anne (Monteiro) Gonsalves. Mrs. Voisine worked as a certified nurse’s assistant in California before returning to Bourne where she lived for 24 years. She moved to Fall River in 2018.

She is survived by her children, Theresa Souza and her husband Mark, Edward R. Voisine, Jr. and his wife Dolores, and Lorine Travers all of Fall River, Alton Voisine and his wife Roberta of Taunton, and Jane Roberts of Lewiston, ME; 17 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, the late Stephen A. Voisine.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 – 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
