The summer heat is here, and so is the Wareham Free Library’s Concerts on the Lawn series!

Each Monday from June 24 through August 5, bring a blanket or lawn chair, bug spray and a picnic snack and enjoy the great music at the library.

The concerts start at 7 p.m.

If the weather isn’t nice, the fun just moves inside.

Bring a donation for Damien’s Food Pantry as your “ticket” into the show.

This year’s lineup starts with the Steve Rudolph Trio on June 24, bringing American popular music from big band tunes to Elvis and Sinatra.

On July 1, Grace Morrison, Wareham’s own nationally touring singer and songwriter, will make a return to her hometown.

Matt York will perform the songs of Willie Nelson on July 8, accompanied by stories of Nelson’s carreer.

The award winning A-capella group Peking and the Mystics will visit the library on July 15.

On July 22, hear from the group Unlikely Strummers, billed as “definitely not your great grandfather’s ukulele band.”

Stanley and Grimm will visit the library on July 29, bringing a celebration of Celtic music both old and new.

And Wareham’s own Irish Fiddler Fern Tamigini-O’Donnell will close out the concert series on August 5.
