The Southcoast Wellness Van’s June schedule has been announced for community screenings and vaccinations. The van is designed to promote health and well-being of individuals in the communities served by Southcoast Health.

The van will stop at the Onset Pier, 184 Onset Ave., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 17. On June 19, the van will appear at Wareham Crossing from 8 a.m. to noon.

Free mobile health services available include:

• Cancer screenings and education

• Blood pressure screening

• Cholesterol screening

• Teen resource information

• Glucose (diabetes) screenings

• Nutritional information and education

• Health education services

• Medical physician referral

• Vaccinations

Note that screenings sponsored by the Southcoast Wellness Van are sometimes held at community locations and not always on the van. Look for signs when arriving at a location if you do not see the van outside.
