The Wareham girls volleyball team beat Old Rochester Regional High School Thusday, October 20 3-1. This win qualified the team for the state tournament for the first time in school history. The team also beat Bourne on Friday, October 21 3-2. The volleyball team has not won against Bourne in over a decade. Jaimie Beauchemin had 75 digs and her digging percentage was over 90 percent. Rebecca Holmes was 143 out of 144 on assist attempts and had 27 assists. Samantha Reynolds had six kills and nine blocks, making the game against Bourne the best in her career. The team lost to Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School on Monday, October 24 1-3.

Matthew Crocker of the Wareham golf team played at Eastern CC Tuesday, shooting an 85.

The Wareham cross country team will perform in its final race of the season this Saturday in the SCC conference meet at Washburn Park in Rochester, Mass.
