Want to get outside for a walk this winter? The Wareham Land Trust has just the event.
The land trust is hosting a walk through the Marks Cove Conservation Area Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Enjoy the outdoors and hike with good company at Marks Cove while familiarizing yourself with the trails.
The leisurely paced walk will have infrequent stops along the approximately 2 miles of forest terrain with some uneven ground and hills.
The hike will begin at the end of Nicholas Drive and is free with registration required. Visit warehamlandtrust.org to reserve a spot.
