The Wareham Free Library has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of January 2023.

All month, the Library will receive a $1 donation with every purchase of the $2.50 reusable community bag at the Stop & Shop location at 2991 Cranberry Highway. 

The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program with a goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

The Library plans to use the donations to fund its computer classes, children’s reading programs and other special events.
