The 35th Annual Field Day for the Swifts Beach area is to be held on Aug. 31at 10 a.m. at the park on Circle Drive. Events include races for people of all ages.

These races include a kangaroo race, a three-legged race, dog races (big dogs and little dogs), an egg toss and marathon races (one-mile races).

A Perry's ice cream truck will be at this event, which is organized by the Swifts Beach Improvement Association.

Also, on Monday, Sept 1, there will be the annual General Meeting for Swifts Beach Improvement Association.

After a community breakfast, the group will hold its election of Board Members at Voss Hall. All members are urged to participate.
