Technology classes offered at the Wareham Free Library

The Wareham Free Library will offer several technology classes in March.

Four basic computer skills classes will be held on Tuesday's in March at 1 p.m., starting with instruction on using a mouse and keyboard on March 10. Sessions will follow on how to operate search engines on March 17, using an email account on March 24, and accessing the web more safely on March 31.

The library also offers intermediate computer classes on Thursday's in March at 1:30 p.m. Students will be taught how to use Microsoft Word on March 12, Microsoft Excel on March 19, and how to organize files and folders on March 26.

Additionally, a stand-alone session on how to use Ancestry Library Edition will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 1 p.m.  Patrons will learn how to access billions of records in census data, vital records, directories, and immigration records.

Spaces are limited and registration is required. Laptops will be provided by the library.
