To the Editor:

 

I would like to give my utmost thanks to the Onset Fire Department, Wareham Police Department,Wareham Emergency Medical Services, and other first responders.

 

My wife was in a terrible accident on Thursday, May 7. When I showed up on the scene, what looked to be horrendous was, in fact, a controlled chaos.

 

Everyone did a wonderful job getting her out of the vehicle, even though the doors were ripped off! It had to be done.

 

Being born and raised here, I know a lot of you that were on the scene. You do a job that a lot of people have taken for granted recently.

 

I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may God bless everyone in this lovely little town of Wareham.
